Wild Iris
The Cuckoo has been singing pretty solidly for the last couple of weeks, along with little moments from the Woodpecker and the Owls are very vocal day and night. We happily got a sight of the dearest little brown Owl in the tree the other day. Many other birds singing in celebration to the changing season and the abundance of Spring.

As the birds sing and we work in the gardens, the weather continues to fluctuate between hot Sun, howling winds, thunder storms and huge Rains.
Catching the dry days, Paulo has started to tile the terrace.
Wild flowers are abundant, bulbs planted and seeds sown have sprung forth.

Vegetables galore!
Chamomile sown last year and been patiently waiting to be planted up. 10 or so small plants were planted earlier this year and now happy to show our first Chamomile flowers. And my what a gorgeous cuppa they make!
Eschscholzia californica
Cherry blossom.
Teucrium fruticans- planted last year and taken well. Especially beautiful lit up by Moon light.
Yellow and Blue Iris planted last Winter and now come back for the second time. Two varieties that flourish with no extra water given.
