At the last Full Moon plant study here at Ceratonia, we came to know more about the Olive. What Grace and depth of knowledge this wonderful tree has to offer.
The Olive has a fruit that we know so well in its oil form (azeite). In this study we were very much drawn to the trunk. Tender strength. Dancing, shifting and adapting. Each tree with its own personality and what chatterboxes! Each of us were given messages and recipes.
So patient is this tree living all around us, just waiting for the day for us to connect in a different way.
All we need to do is stop, breathe, feel our feet on the ground and listen. And you will hear the abundant communication that can happen between us and plants. It is very good.

We drank tea made from the leaves that had a profound impact on our hearts. A cleansing rejuvenating foot bath was made with a strong decoction of the leaves.
Working with Olive fruit oil we infused the leaves and the bark. The oil can be taken internally as well as used as a massage oil. An essence of the bark was also made.

The medicine of this tree givs permission to rest and be more flexible-both physically and emotionally. A deep restorative that reminds us to express ourselves fully. Soothing the heart and mind and encouraging our true spirit to shine.
