Cato is on the road to recovery. Yesterday he had his second scan and it shows the lump that was in his bladder has gone! Still a little inflammation and bleeding but he is healing well. This has been a hard road, but one that is a great reminder of the amazing healing of REST AND SLEEP. Cato slept a huge amount and you could see the positive effect every time. Once he could go outside, we also have seen a big improvement in him.. Cato has been very ill for the last two weeks and still today we are not sure how things are going to go. He has a very strong spirit and we are giving him masses of LOVE. Basically things have rather stopped at Ceratonia whilst we give all the care that Cato needs. Having said that we have had some positive moments in the last day or so and were able to plant a Walnut tree as well as many Pomegranate trees. Below are some varied photos and finally some of Corey!!! The vet has done a massive amount for Cato, but now we have to wait and see. Please send strength and healing to Cato, thank you. It has been so warm these last few weeks that we have had to cover one of these solar panels, as was all getting a bit hot! Pomegranates are all coming into flower all along the paths and roads. Gorgeous. All our trees are very small and wont flower for a few years, this was taken just outside of Ceratonia. The Fire has come! Ceratonia finally has electricity!! Wow... Running water what a delight! Light at night, candles fab, but sometimes it is great to simply switch on the light. So we now have a fridge and the washing machine has been very busy today. Still can't believe we went 6 months without a fridge.. Overall the whole experience has shown me how little we actually need. But we are very happy to have this amazing luxury. The Solar has also been installed, so we are having fabulous showers heated by the Sun. As always busy in the gardens and this week the Cacti garden has had a lot of attention. The vegetables continue to grow and be eaten! More trees have been bought and many holes dug and stones sorted. Irrigation getting closer and terrace ready for its final layer. Render for outside walls starting next week. Visitors galore giving abundant help and supportive feedback. Before all the excitement of power, I was going to share my experiences with warty toads, hares and foxes! The wildlife around here is abundant and ever changing as the temperature changes. Amazing bird song and exotic lizards- Corey will mange to get a shot at some point. And the Sun... is hot and although tiring gives an amazing depth of inner strength.
Having trouble putting photos on! Will try again later. |
