Life is good. Nothing like sleeping on the Earth! Yes separated by tent and much cosy bedding, but feels great. Seeing the sunrise and set, feeling ever more a part of Nature's rhythms. Yes many challenges in this project, but it is all worth it!
So much going on, but we must not forget it is Winter Solstice coming soon, it is a time of reflection and rest.. All the workers will be gone by the 20th and so in 10 days, we will take some time to digest all we have done so far and take a rest too. In the meantime, plenty progress and construction taking place! What will happen over the next 10 days...
I keep forgetting to mention the birds! There are so many here, yes many familiar ones. The other day, I must have seen 50 or more Jays swooping over the land and on. An Eagle flew over us on Saturday. The first and last time time I saw the Eagles was when we first arrived in August. There are plenty of birds I have never seen before. Different hues of blue seem a popular colour. Also birdsongs I have never heard, one which has a similarity to a neighing horse... Who is this, does anybody know?
