Many seeds have been sown, plenty vegetables for the new Kitchen garden as well as many herbs, the planting of shrubs and climbers is happening too. More to do and we love it! Especially seeing the tiny buds making their way through on many that we have already planted last year.
We have cleared all the old wood that was in piles all over the land, most has been stored for fire wood. One area has had rotting wood for years and now as the area has been sorted we have been left with gorgeous rich humus. It is exciting and we will be planting in this area soon.
We continue to make friends with ever more local plants, like this gorgeous Wild Madder (see below) that is used to make a dye.
Throughout all our hard work the birds sing, so many different birds and the Woodpeckers are especially busy!
