As always much is going on at Ceratonia. The Centre continues to be worked on, internal walls being constructed, Solar heating started to be installed today and the electricians have been in all last week and hopefully finishing soon. We do not have Electricity, but the posts have arrived and holes dug. We are living in the centre now, tis like glorified camping. Living without the usual modern day appliances and basic ways we are so used to is good and amazing how much we don't miss! We do have the loan of a generator, which is able to power the pump and so give us water. We have a tap and even have a toilet! So when the generator is on we can wash the dishes and flush the loo! Life with buckets continues and muscles build!
We have been doing loads of gardening and we have been very lucky to have my sister Celeste stay and help over the festive time. She is strong and willing and has been a great help. At the airport saying goodbye she said "Gardening, I never thought I would love it!"
